Decorative Concrete Walls

Hamilton Block & Ready Mix is now expanding into the pre-cast wall business. This new wall system, designed by Curt Pieper, features easy installation and potential for a variety of decorative finishes.

These wall panels can be used for many different applications ranging from housing developments to commercial properties. The inherent design of the concrete wall provides not only for a strong security perimeter, but also a great sound barrier.

The installation pictured here was for Truck Services Inc. Due to increasing security issues, a solution needed to be designed to limit access to the property. Now, with the pre-cast concrete walls in place, there is only one entrance to the property, and is much easier to keep secure.

Custom designs related to Truck Services Inc. were incorporated into the wall panels to complement the business's property. Inlaid designs can be custom made to suit individual customer's needs and to make security walls have a custom tailored appearance.

Various finishes can be applied to the wall panels, ranging from a split limestone appearance, to a decorative stone wall type of look. Your possibilities for a unique finish are just about limitless with the form liners, coloring additives, concrete stains, and texturing tools.

The design depicted here is four feet high and approximately 5 inches thick. The wall has both synthetic and steel reinforcements added to a 5000psi concrete mix to make it very strong and durable. A six foot wall is also currently being designed, with possibilities to custom tailor to your application.
